Is the sentiment that I used on my card that I am posting for you today. I haven't been able to create anything lately, my Imagine is not working and last night I found out that I ran out of adhesive! So I thought I would share a card that I had made in a card making class. It's says "spoil yourself today". This card goes out to all of our followers, weather it be a mini-shopping trip, a quick mani/pedi, or even a trip to your favorite coffee shop, we want you to "spoil yourself today" and have a fabulous weekend!

Halloween Treats!
Good morning! Happy belated Halloween! I wanted to post some pictures of Halloween goodie bags my son and I made the night before Halloween. I wanted to post this last night but we were all so tired from having a great time trick or treating and enjoying a fall festival that a local church put on! Here are some treats we handed out to his classmates...we gave his teachers caramel apples drizzled with white and semi-sweet chocolate! Well I'm off to make baby shower and birthday cards, have a great day!

MCT Pinterest Inspired Challenge
Where has the time gone? I know Rebecca and I have been crafting on and off, but finding time to actually sit down and post on our blog has been quite a challenge.
Over at My Creative Time For Me, Emma has a fun new challenge going on. I'm sure I missed the deadline, but I wanted to share what I made!
Here are the details for this challenge:
1. Use Pinterest for your inspiration by making ANYTHING crafty OR even if you see CUTE cupcakes/food items you want to try, I mean ANYTHING you see HERE that inspires YOU!
2. Please put the LINK of the website where you found your inspiration on your blogs! PLEASE do NOT post the original picture of your "Inspiration", ONLY the link to their website!
3. Please link your projects HERE below this post.
4. Deadline for this challenge is on Tuesday, September 4th @ midnight!
5. Last, but certainly not least......HAVE FUN!;)
My daughter started her first season of t-ball this month and her first game is this weekend. Let me just say that she is a girly girl from head to toe! So we have been trying to get creative with accessories and "blinging" out her uniform.
I saw the cutest hair bows on pinterest and knew that I wanted to try to make them for her! This is the link http://thefrugalgirls.com/2011/06/how-to-make-korker-bows.html that I found on making the korker hair bows and here is what I did...
I had so much fun making these! I will be making more soon and will hopefully get some more pictures up to share!

Happy Birthday!
I have to start off by apologizing for this picture... It's pretty bad. In my defense, my 18 month old bumped into me right as I took the picture, and then of course my camera battery died! But, this was the only picture I snapped of this birthday card before I gave it to one of my oldest, closest friends! I am so happy I got to celebrate her birthday with her! Not to mention it turned into a much needed date night for my hubby and I!
I have to mention that I a was so excited to finally use my new "ek" punch!

Where has the time gone?
That's something I have been asking myself lately. The month of May was so busy for our family. Between soccer games and birthday parties every Saturday and practices between soccer and t-ball all week, and of course graduations! The month of May has gone by so fast! Things have finally slowed down and I am very thankful:) I am so excited to be back in my craftroom creating again! I was able to put together something tonight for Emma's www.creativetimeforme.com "Scrappy Layout Monday" challenge. I am so happy that she is having scrapbook challenges because I am soooo behind(years)!! So thank you Emma!! I love doing her challenges!<3 The challenge asked for only "one" picture and to use buttons! I have decided to make a 8x8 album for my husband and I and here is a page that I will be adding to it..I hope you enjoy and have a great week!

Mother's Day Month
I know we are almost in June and I usually associate June with Father's day, my husband's birthday and the official summer kick off! But, we are still in May and May is for Mother's Day and, graduations/end of a school year, and getting ready for summer. I loove Mother's Day. I think moms have the hardest and most rewarding job of all. So I am so glad I got to make and send out Mother's Day cards! I liked how they turned out and, like all my others, they are very simple.
I used 4x4 cardbase cardstock from Michael's
layered paper from Michael's and Target
inked edges with ink from target and a sponge
"Happy Mother's Day" Poly Clear, clear stamp from Michael's
Hope you enjoy!

NSD Challenge!
Can you believe I didn't participate in NSD Challenges until the day after...I thought it was Sunday not Saturday:/ Better late than never?:)
Over at www.mypinkstamper.com Robyn had several design team members with challenges for NSD. Carissa at http://www.sprinkledwithglitter.com challenged everyone to make something using embossing. I decided to emboss the words on the front of the card, "We are so proud of you" and the little diploma stamp on the top left. Hope you like it- Happy National Scrapbook Day!:)

My Pinkalicious Challenge!
Just finished creating a card for Robyn's Pinkalicious Challenge for April. My Cricut Imagine is having problems tonight so I decided to go machine free! The challenge was anything Mother's Day! So glad I was able to get one card made early. I used several different sets of stamps and did use My Pink Stampers " I love you" stamp, which went perfect with this card:)
Better late than never?
I think I have 1 hour to post this on mypinkstamper.com! I have been meaning to make a Happy Birthday card all week long for this challenge and I finally got around to it, an hour before the dead line to post! I'm so glad I made it though:)

Big Sister T-shirt
I wanted to jump on this morning and show you a picture of a super cute little t-shirt I made for my niece over the weekend! My brother and his girlfriend are on baby #2 and wanted to tell grandma and grandpa the news in a fun and cute way. I grabbed a little t-shirt from Hobby Lobby and used some left over Zebra print material and Heat n Bond material I had from a previous project. I used my Gypsy to design the word "big sister" and cut it out using my Cricut Expression. I also used buttons that I had bought from Walmart and put it all together! I should have snapped a picture of my niece in it, she looked so cute! Grandma and Grandpa didn't catch on until my brother asked them to read the shirt, but it was still pretty priceless:) This weekend my son starts his soccer games and I have decided to make a shirt for myself and my daughter, I will post pictures of that project in the next couple of days.
Have a great Monday!

Disneyland Memories
About a month ago our family went on vacation to the happiest place on earth, "Disneyland!". We went to the park three different days and had so much fun! One morning we went to Mickeys Toon Town Morning Madness and were picked to be the Honorary Family of the day! It was such a great experience for the kids, of course I wanted to frame the certificate we received that day. This was the fastest project I've done in a while, so that was great! I had bought a pack of Mickey 3-D cut outs from Hobby Lobby a couple of weeks ago that went perfect with this project. I love it!

Throwback Thursday Challenge
For this Throwback Thursday Challenge I used "Plantin schoolbook" to cut out the numbers 17.When I sat down to start creating I was blocked, so I decided to keep it simple and I actually like it alot!
Weekend of challenges!
This weekend I have decided to enter a few of Emma's challenges over at www.creativetimeforme.com. This particular card is to enter the "Monday Madness Imagine That" challenge. The challenge for this week is to use your "print only" feature on your Imagine. I decided just to print out pattern paper and use it as a background.

A Day at the Zoo
I love our local zoo! Our family goes multiple times a year, so I have many pictures, and therefore will have many many "zoo" pages! Here is a page I did using my Gypsy (from my bestie!), Cricut Imagine and the Create a Critter cart. I hope to have more pages to share soon.

Good Morning!
So I have been watching a lot of videos on working with vinyl and finally got the confidence to try and use the 1 sheet of vinyl paper that I received with my new Cricut Imagine. I have been seeing a lot of projects that have been using different quotes and words people love. So I decided to use my Gypsy and create a 12x12 project to apply on the wall of my craftroom/husbands office(I kept it on my side). I did learn a lot of what to do and not to do's while doing this project. I can't wait to create more things with vinyl! Here it is and I love it!:)...

Dude!
So, I have had the "Dude" cricut cartridge for about a month now, (Bestie gave it to me for Christmas) and I can't Thank her enough! I have been using it a lot lately. I didn't realize how many boy birthdays we had around this time of the year and all of them are around the 6&7 year old range, so this cartridge has been PERFECT for the cards I have had to make recently. I wanted to jump on and post some pictures really quick. Now that the cards are done, time to get ready for the birthday party! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
until next time,
<3 Rebecca

1st card post of the year!
So, here it is as I promised! I was able to post a card before the end of the month, (patting myself on the shoulder ;) I made this card a couple of weeks ago and have been wanting to post it. I got a Cricut Imagine for Christmas (so excited) and wanted to try and use the RGB color option. For the pants I used a pattern from the Industrial Glow Imagine cartridge and with the rest I just roamed around the colors until I found one I liked. I loved the way it turned out! The picture is very blurry, I took it on my phone and thought it had come out better than that...anyways, here it is-
Until next time,
Rebecca
